One Toy Can Make a Difference
The season of giving is upon us. So, keep that in mind when you’re heading to your local Target or doing some online shopping. Adding one toy to your list could mean more than you know to kids who rely on the kindness of the community.
PROSHRED® Fort Lauderdale will make it easy for you to get your gifts to children in need as its holding a gift drive for KID Inc. and the Jack & Jill Children’s Center in December. You can even clean house a bit when you drop off your toy, as PROSHRED® will take two boxes of paper to shred in exchange for your donation.
Kids in Distress and Jack & Jill Children’s Center
Kids in Distress (KID) started in 1979 and has a mission to prevent child abuse and treat children who have been victims.
The Jack & Jill Children’s Center’s mission is “to break the cycle of poverty for children of high need working families through quality early childhood education and family strengthening programs.”
PROSHRED® Fort Lauderdale is partnering with KID Inc. and Jack & Jill Children’s Center supporting Children of the Community this holiday season.
PROSHRED® Fort Lauderdale will be collecting new unwrapped toys for children in need at their shred events Saturday, December 8th and Saturday December 15th, in partnership with Kids in Distress (KID) and Jack & Jill Children’s Center.
Toy donations for both charities will also be accepted at the PROSHRED® Ft. Lauderdale office from November 12th to December 17th.
In addition to donating toys for children, individuals may bring up to two standard size boxes of paper documents to the shred events. PROSHRED®’s on-site shredding truck will safely and securely shred and dispose of the unwanted personal information. The events are free to attend and documents will be shred in exchange for a new unwrapped toy donation that will go directly to both charities for the holidays.
