Two New Dining Options
If you love to try new dining experiences, it’s always exciting when a new restaurant opens in your area. Orlandoans get to try out not just one new place, but two, and they’re entirely different.
The Ramen features, what else but, ramen. That’s not all, though. You can order bento boxes and there are plenty of vegan options. Chef Suichi Tanida left the Disney organization as the Chef at the Japanese Pavilion in Epcot to open The Ramen in downtown Orlando, so you know he’s got the experience behind him.
The second new venue is F & D Woodfired Italian Kitchen on Curry Ford Road in the Hourglass District.
Woodfire pizzas dominate the menu. But, F & D is also offering plenty of vegan options. You can also stop by for brunch and take advantage of the bottomless mimosas.
Chef Suichi Tanida’s new ramen shop, The Ramen, opened today in downtown Orlando.
As for what to expect from the new eatery, the entrees include a selection of ramen, including vegan options, bento boxes and donburi. Appetizers include edamame, takoyaki and gyoza and mochi ice cream and dorayaki for dessert.

Adding to the Hourglass District’s ever-expanding restaurant roster, F&D Woodfired Italian Kitchen is now officially open.
The new neighborhood addition specializes in woodfire-cooked pizzas, obviously, but they also dish out other classic Italian staples, vegan options, and a brunch on the weekends with bottomless mimosas.
