Charlotte Christmas Village Christkindlmarkt - Uptown Charlotte
German types of markets are big events throughout Europe and the UK. Every year, they get grander and attract more visitors who are looking to liven up the holidays with festival food, drinks, and vendor booths.
That same spirit is in Uptown Charlotte with the Charlotte Christmas Village Christkindlmarkt.
Charlotte Christmas Village is on the parade route and opens immediately following the Thanksgiving Parade. Until December 24th, Christkindlmarkt will have entertainment of its own, as well as plenty of shopping.
After you've checked off the items on your naughty and nice list, you can enjoy some Glühwein, which is mulled wine. There's even a non-alcoholic version, as well as strudel, pastries, pretzels, gingerbread, and more.
