RISE Comedy
You can’t put RISE Comedy into a box, as it’s a bit of everything. Whether you enjoy improv, sketch, or stand-up comedy, you can turn to RISE.
Formerly known as Voodoo Comedy, RISE started in 2011 at the Voodoo Comedy Playhouse. It’s a multi-award-winning troupe, recognized as Best Improv and Comedy Night by Westword and CBS Local.
RISE offers a full bar and NO drink minimum. Yes, you read that correctly – no drink minimum. Shows scheduled for 10 pm and later are designated 21 and older. But teens can enjoy fun events like musical improv earlier in the evening. Tickets are in the $15 range, and you can save by purchasing them online in advance.
The Improv – Denver
The Improv is a “Comedy Theater and Restaurant” located at Northfield and Stapleton in Denver.
While you can catch headliners like Bill Bellamy and D.L. Hughley, Denver Improv also has hypnotists and other specialty acts on the calendar. Tickets typically range from $20 to $50 depending on the act, but all shows are 21 and over.
Denver Improv is a one-stop-shop for dinner and entertainment. It’s more casual dining – appetizers, burgers, salads, and yummy sweets like a Funnel Cake Sundae.
Boulder Comedy Show
Did you know that Sundays are the nights to laugh in Boulder? That’s because the Boulder Comedy Show takes the stage twice on Sundays at Rayback Collective (2775 Valmont Road).
The Boulder Comedy Show is approaching its 10-year anniversary featuring comedians from across the United States. Every show is different, so you could buy tickets for every Sunday and never get bored!
Tickets are available online for about $20 each, and 21 and over is recommended.
