Triangle’s most beloved holiday show is back. Yes, its Ira David Wood III’s musical comedy adaptation of A Christmas Carol celebrating its 45th Anniversary.
Grab your ticket, and you’ll get to see 100 talented performers bringing the story to life with unique songs, and topical, and sometimes biting, humor that fits brilliantly into this Broadway-quality production.
No wonder it is one of the most successful shows in the history of North Carolina theatre.

Nothing says Christmas better than the spectacular Christmas light displays, and Piper Lights at Wake Forest is the definition of a stunning light show. Including 7 acres of area with 1 million lights, the event has hundreds of beautiful sculptures illuminated with sparkling lights for everyone to enjoy.
And, after being mesmerized by the lights, you can ride the free Santa train and visit the old-fashioned candy store. Santa will also be attending on Wednesdays and every weekend from 7 p.m.to 9 p.m., and the best part is that it is a free attraction.
Christmas at Oak View Farm

Wouldn’t it be interesting to know and feel how Christmas was celebrated from 1850 to 1950?
Well, you can get to know all about it at the Oak View Farm this Christmas. You’ll tour the Main House and Plank Kitchen, while taking in the decorations displaying five different periods in Oak View’s history, including Antebellum Era, Victorian Era, Great Depression, Civil War Era, and World War II.
You will get to know how historical events impacted holiday traditions, customs and decorations through the years. Holiday games are part of the program as well, and the attraction is open to any group. However, reservations are required.

You can drive through various neighborhoods and marvel at the artistry of your neighbors. But you could also hop on a tractor and enjoy Lights on the Neuse at Boyette Family Farms.
Not only will you take your Christmas hayride, but you’ll catch a glimpse of Santa. There’s also the Sugar Barn with cookie decorating. Perhaps the highlight, though, is the chance to go into the Sweet Shop and buy a “Smores” kit. The picnic area has the campfire ready and waiting.
