The Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade
Dates: December 14, 2019
Location: New River to the Intracoastal Waterway in Fort Lauderdale and Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano Beach
The Winterfest Boat Parade, sponsored by the Seminole Hard Rock Casino might be the biggest holiday event in South Florida. Drawing around a million spectators each year, this 12-mile boat parade, often called “Greatest Show on H20,” will have plenty of fun activities and light displays.
Showboats, private boats, and mega yachts will all be decorated with Christmas décor and fabulous lights.
Grand Marshal - Bret Michaels of Poison
The hairband rocker Bret Michaels (Poison), will be the Grand Marshal for the 49th annual Winterfest Boat Parade. You can secure the more prime viewing points using tickets or hotel and restaurant packages. But if you are willing to see early, you can still score a good spot for free.
General admission is free. But seats in the Grandstand Viewing Area range from $25 to $30.

Location: Palm Beach Zoo

Then Palm Beach Zoo is a must-visit spot for you this Christmas because it is about to get lit beautifully.
You can enjoy breathtaking displays made up of more than one million eco-friendly lights every night and get involved in festive activities like cookie decorating, holiday-themed animal encounters, and photos with Santa. So, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
This event represents Palm Beach Zoo’s inaugural year of getting in on the Lights, so it is going to be amazing, and will soon be on the list of must-attend Christmas events in South Florida. Admission is $7.95 to $9.95 for members and $12.95 to $14.95 for non-members.
Miami City Ballet’s The Nutcracker
Dates: December 15- December 29, 2019
Location: Miami Arsht Center
Follow Marie and everyone’s favorite Nutcracker into a magical land with more than 100 dancers bringing the stunning winter wonderland to life. Battle the Mouse King, get to meet toy soldiers and discover a glittering forest of dancing Snowflakes.
Experience the adventure that unfolds in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker courtesy of Miami City Ballet. You'll be captivated by the extraordinary music played by the live orchestra. It's truly one of the best Christmas shows in Miami, and the price isn't too bad either.

Fort Lauderdale Christmas Pageant
Dates: Through December 15, 2019
Location: First Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale
Enjoy the Broadway-style Christmas show at First Baptist that's being referred to as part of the reason for the season.
Combining the story of the first Christmas with contemporary holiday songs and dance numbers, the annual 36th pageant will feature more than 300 performers along with live animals that we all know kids love like crazy. The award-winning stage show is bringing a fresh twist with new circus elements this year.
Tickets range from $16 to $63.
Location: American-German Club of the Palm Beaches
Date: December 7 -December 8, 2019
Experience the local version of German Christmas hosted by the American-German Club.
You'll enjoy Christmas gingerbread houses, ornament stations holiday carolers, and an appearance by the jolly old man himself.
And yeah, indulgence in German food and drink favorites like brats, strudel, potato pancakes, and the traditional hot spiced wine served in souvenir mugs is a must. Seeing all the excellent offerings, Christkindl Market has to be a part of the best Christmas events in South Florida list.

Waterfront Great Lawn transforms the oceanfront setting this Christmas with 35-feet tall and a whopping 700 tons Christmas tree made out of... what else? Sand.
Sandi is accompanied by a light and music show on the quarter-hour each night, making it even more enchanting. And the fun doesn't end here, Sandi Land will also be welcoming you to a nine-hole mini-golf course as well as photo opp stations for those all-important Christmas selfies.
Bayfront Holiday Village

Trans-Siberian Orchestra - A Christmas Event Tradition in South Florida and Beyond
