GLOW Nashville

If we say Glow is going to be Nashville’s brightest Christmas this year, it won’t be wrong. This fantastic event is for all ages and has something for everyone in the family.

You get to see one of the country’s highest Christmas trees, a custom-built ice skating rink, and millions of lights along with an amazing life-size Santa’s workshop and much more. The events tickets are priced between $15.99 -$79.99.

Nashville’s Nutcracker

The undeniable holiday classic has become one of Nashville’s favorite Christmas events. The Nashville Ballet will be celebrating its 12th consecutive performance this year. The story of the Mouse King, Sugar Plum Fairy, and the Nutcracker is the perfect way to celebrate Christmas with the whole family.

Dates: December 7th through the 23rd 2019

Nordic Winter Village

Missed the heated igloos last year? Don’t worry; they are back again for 2019, and better than before.

The theme is Nordic Winter Village that has cedar cabins (only two, so reserve yours now), bonfires, cozy blankets and rugs, holiday trees, and décor along with the festive menu items and of course, the heated igloos. Reservations are highly recommended.

Drive-Thru Dancing Lights of Christmas

The Dancing Lights of Christmas comes back to Nashville this Christmas at The James E. Ward Agricultural Center for the 10th time.

This Nashville Christmas event has become a tradition over the past decade. I mean, who can resist the charm of magical dancing lights? Not me, for sure. And if you are someone like me who enjoys the fascinating beauty of dancing lights, this one is perfect for you.

You can pile in a car with your family or friends and drive through an incredible and dreamy dancing light show that is synchronized to an FM radio channel. Pretty special, right?

Dates: November 16th 2019 through January 4th 2020

Patrick Barlow's A Christmas Carol

What Christmas would be complete without a theatrical performance of A Christmas Carol?

Yes, you are right, none and Nashville folks know that well. So, Nashville Repertory Theatre brings one of the most anticipated Christmas events in Nashville back to life for the 35th year. So, get ready to enjoy splendid design and props and performances by talented actors taking on the story of Scrooge and the three ghostly visitations!

Dates: November 29th through December 24th, 2019

Cheekwood Holiday Lights - and MORE!

Holiday LIGHTS at Cheekwood return for the fifth year with new and exciting surprises. The one-mile-long path will feature over a million sparkling lights with the new addition, Pinnacles of Light, that is an out-of-doors spectacle displaying 17 custom-made LED trees with automated lights.

You will also get to enjoy at gingerbread workshops, s’mores pits and cash bars with wine, beer, and hot chocolate along with a real reindeer, Santa and holiday carolers. And don’t forget to visit the decorated Mansion while you’re there. Depending on membership status, time, and date, tickets will range between $9- $27.

Auntie Claus

No, it's not Santie Claus, it's Auntie Claus.

Auntie Claus is the Nashville Children's Theatre's 2019 Nashville Christmas show. Sophie Kringle's Aunt is someone who is just a bit special. Why does she serve Christmas cookies in July? Buy your tickets and you'll find out!

Adult tickets are $23, but check out the Nashville Children's Theatre website to find out about Family Fun Days.

Salute to Vienna

OK, we're pushing the envelope a bit with this one, as it's scheduled for January 3rd. But the holiday season does include New Years, and Salute to Vienna is the Nashville Symphony's New Year's Concert.

Get lost into the beauty of Viennese music with Salute to Vienna, a renowned classical concert tour that has fascinated the world since 2013 Wiener Konzerthaus performance.

Enjoy the remarkable performance of over 130 singers, ballroom and ballet dancers along with talented orchestra members and waltz into thrilling music, cheerfulness, aerated energy, and nostalgic romance. Surely, a great way to welcome New Year.

ICE! is just a down to earth, fun place for the entire family. Enjoy a real winter wonderland and revive the classic tale of A Christmas Story at Gaylord's event center.

The fantastic attraction has so much fun Christmas stuff, including interactive sculptures, glittering ice displays, and more.
