By Lu, OTL City Guides & Seat Fillers

I’m not a salesperson and I don’t want to be either. So, I’m grateful that, through OTL, I get to introduce all kinds of free services. And, now, we’ve got incredible new touchless, ticketless mobile event ticketing for Austin area events, and there’s no charge to use it! Awesome!

OTL Seat Fillers have supported the Austin arts and entertainment community for over seven years, providing free and private seat filling. Now, OTL City Guides Tickets Austin (aka “Austin Tickets“) lets you sell, send, and scan tickets with high-tech ticketing tools. And, once again, it’s free. That’s F-R-E-E!

About Mobile Touchless Ticketless Austin Ticketing

Your time is valuable, so I’m going to get right to the heart of the matter with the benefits of using Austin Tickets. I think you’ll be excited about it, as it’s a new way to take your events to the next level with all kinds of communication, social sharing, and reporting tools. Use some, use none, use them all – it’s up to you!

Austin Exclusivity

OTL City Guides Tickets is a free service for Austin, Texas area shows, activities, events, and fundraisers.

Your Custom-Designed Ticketing Sales Page

You can build your own custom event and sales page in just a few minutes.

GA, Reserved Seating – All Types of Tickets

It doesn’t matter if you’re working with General Admission, Reserved, Donation-based, or Free Tickets, as OTL City Guides Austin Tickets can handle them all. Build your seating chart and use it over and over again. Or, set up a donations page without ticketing. You get the gist!

One-click Purchasing

Once you take your web page live, you can use the URL in marketing. But, event promoters have had huge success creating a QR code (easy enough with the Google search bar). They put that QR code right on their event signage. So, event-goers pull out their phones to buy tickets instead of walking up to the window.

More Ticketing Tools for Austin Events!

Your ticketing dashboard on OTL City Guides Tickets Austin allows you to email customers, refund, or exchange tickets. You can also connect to MailChimp or your social media platforms.

Email or Text Tickets

Tickets can be sent via email or text – your choice. Choose wisely, though, as it’ll help you build a list for future marketing programs.

Ticket Takers Can Scan Tickets Using the Free Evvnt App

On the big day, you can download the Evvnt app and scan tickets right from your customers’ phones to yours. There you go with portable, touchless, ticketless ticketing for our new world!

One More Benefit – And It’s a Big One

It doesn’t cost you anything. The low fee is added to your ticket price and passed along to customers (just like many other ticket services). Butt you get quite a bit more with sell, send, and scan!

Touchless Ticketing Tools for Today’s Austin Events

We now live in a new world, one where paper tickets are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Now, with COVID restrictions, no one wants to even pass credit cards, pens, or other materials back and forth anymore. So, venues and event planners are looking for new ways to handle ticket sales and ticket taking, and they want it to be easy!

Mobile Ticketing

While we didn’t intend to focus on the portable, touchless, ticketless aspect, we just realized that it’s a huge benefit. Even venues with in-house ticketing systems might benefit from a portable box office in a virtual box. So, it doesn’t have to be one or the other when you can have the best of both worlds!

From Your Customers’ Smartphones to Yours

  1. Customers can scan a QR code displayed on your sign or brochure (or you can use your URL)
  2. In a few clicks on their phone, computer, or tablet, they purchase tickets sent via email or text
  3. Your ticket takers use the free Evvnt app to scan the mobile tickets for admission

C’mon. It doesn’t get much easier than that, does it?!

Why is OTL City Guides Tickets Different from Eventbrite or Brown Paper Tickets?

Aside from the long list of ticketing tools at your disposal, there are a few other things that set OTL City Guides Tickets Austin apart from other event portals.

One City and One City Only

The number one distinction between OTL City Guides Tickets Austin and other ticketing portals like Eventbrite or Brown Paper Tickets is that it’s city-specific.

There are 10 different OTL City Guides Tickets locations, and each is dedicated to one market. That means, instead of your customers scrolling through dozens (or hundreds) of cities, they’re going right to local opportunities.

For example, if you’re promoting an event in Atlanta, you’ll use OTL City Guides Tickets – Atlanta. That particular site features ticket opportunities in the greater Atlanta area exclusively. You won’t find Austin events tucked away on the same portal. For those, customers will access OTL City Guides Tickets – Austin.

Your Event is YOUR Event

While the local focus is the primary difference, you’ll also find that you can customize your individual ticket sales page more through OTL City Guides Tickets.

You’ve got a lot of wide-open real estate to really do your event justice. And, from there, you can opt to take advantage of other ticketing tools like adding a donation button or sending secret access codes or reminders to your customers.
